As the title states. Bought Assault today, because hey, two well reviewed games in one for £3.75.
I was dubious my laptop would have the ability to run these well, but looking at their minimum and recommended specs, I assumed I'd be able to get a decent enough framerate on low settings.

My only concern was my integrated graphics which would undoubtedly crap itself a bit.
However, first time I played it, the main menu itself was unusable, it lagged so badly. I've never seen anything so horrid in my life. I must have been getting one or two FPS from it. Even using arrow keys to select the options produced something like a three second wait.
Having browsed around, I've found other reports of people encountering the same problems, and usually on decent desktop gaming rigs. They switched machines and still got the same problem.
I tried the only patch that's been released, to no avail.
Does anyone have any idea what's causing this and/or how I can fix it?
moved to tech support, read GGD rules
Ooh, sorry, missed that one.
Thanks for not banning me.
Any ideas, anyone?
Your chipset doesn't support openGL 3+, you're lucky it works at all.
..Good luck trying to run any new game well with an intel chipset.
