Music from a DVD to PS3

I don't know where this goes but I'm putting it here

I put some music on a DVD intention of putting music on my PS3 but when I put the disk into the triple nothing comes up is there a icon or something I'm missing?

You could try putting it onto a DVD-R as UDF (v2.50).

Or you could use a flash drive or (W)LAN
