Personally I'd rather have moral ambiguity, with the moral impact having no bar and be gauged by the reactions of your allies. It certainly worked for Origins, and that game was one of my favourite CRPGs for a long time.
But right now I'm pretty much wishing for the moon and a hot girl; probably never gonna happen.
Decisions like which color will be used when everything blows to shit.
DA2 is what happens when cynical people make a game in the most cynical way for the most cynical reasons.
