They better have learned from their mistakes with DA2.
I sure hope they streamline it more
oh boy streamlining streamline streamline streamline
I ain't going to play or buy this. The second game was a big enough failure for me. Good I tried the demo, as well played it at a friend's place first some hours. Because I was close to wasting my money.
/minirant.
But if they do have a demo for it, I might try that demo to see if they learned. I am not expecting anything though.

No but haven't you heard? When you streamline something it becomes more fun! It's no fun to have to use your head so the more we can make the game play itself the better
fucking fire hamburger helper and hire some proper fucking writers who can write characters that don't fucking suck
also don't recycle the same 10 areas for a fucking 20 hour game

I don't give a shit what party members I can fuck when all of them are less likeable than the fucking villains

Personally I am looking forward to another riveting romantic tale from the Twilight ham beast

i hope they continue to improve on the originals! dragon age 2 was a good start but surely they could put in a cover system at least...

Don't forget the ability to actually ride a dragon into battle!
Wait... No no no that would be too cool. Scratch that
DA2 was a piece of shit. Let's see if they understand that or if they try to make it for an even "wider" audience.

Doesn't seem so, I've seen 0/10 reviews left on The Witcher 2 by Bioware employees.
Their audience is as wide as a slut's vagina
we all know how this will turn out
Must still be in its infancy. I enjoyed DA2 a lot and still hope they'll release an expansion for it.
I didn't even play the second beyond the demo. I'm not sure if it's actually worth it, because the gameplay is good but not good enough to warrant a play through if the story and characters suck.
No thanks, Dragon Age 2 was an abomination compared to Dragon Age: Origins.
It may seem like people are harsh but it's a game coming from a studio that has the tools and cash to do something AMAZING and then they came up with DA2... so again, no thanks.
It's like Activision

Witcher 2 is abso-fucking-lutely everything I wanted out of Dragon Age 2.
And all I have to give up for it? Party members following me around towns and in combat. I can deal with that.
I still haven't played DA:O mainly because at the time it came out I really didn't have time for long SP game. I tried the DA2 demo and maybe I kept doing something wrong but I couldn't use the combat system well. I always died at the Ogre and seeing how I sucked I thought maybe I should skip this.
What was wrong with DA2, anyway? Never played it, but I never got a clear explanation of why it was so bad
I bet you can have sex with Darkspawn now.

- Promotional DLC out the window. There was something around 50 launch-day DLCs for promotions, collector's editions and etcetera.
- A non-engaging story. It started out a bit interesting, but began to get really pale and monotonous.
- Reused areas. And we're not talking the same forest. We're talking the same building or cave with every 'prop' in the same exact fucking area.
- Dull combat. Click attack. Click attack. Drink potion. Use special. Click attack.
- Flat characters. NPCs with no personality at all.
- (This one irked me.) Female Warrior as main character option. Voiced by a girly teenager.
- Absolute horrible romance. Twilight quality at best. The whole hambeast writer thing isn't an exaggeration.
- Spending all your time (a good 10-20 hours) preparing and saving money for a huge dungeon raid that only lasts about 15 minutes with only the tiniest impact on the story.
I tried to enjoy it. I got really, really far in as well. It just felt.. bad. Rushed. Like the people with any sort of creativity were hooked up to milkers and being sucked dry for money. It was third-rate, which made no sense for such a massive company and good team. They attempted to make a huge money maker and got a pile of shit with a sticker on it.. and then marketed the fuck out of that.
If they somehow possibly manage to fuck up Mass Effect 3, I'm done with Bioware. I loved all their games up 'till DA2, but it was a kick to the balls from your best friend. You're left there cringing, hoping that he won't do it again.
Their audience is as wide as a slut's vagina
Which means very wide.
Fuck off, Bioware.
Either take longer than 2 years to make it and unfuck your management or don't even bother since you've done nigh irreparable damage to the series with the abortion that is Dragon Age 2.
They better have learned from their mistakes with DA2.
Don't worry, they have cut out all the unnecessary fluff that showed it down. DA3 is now a Beat 'Em Up.
I don't want it after DA2. :geno:
I love Origins. I love DA2 even more.
Sure, the DLC was bullshit, but that's not just DA2 that does that. Literally the only thing I didn't like were the reused areas.
