950-960$ is my budget, total right now is 940$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171053 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.413191 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.567851
You have chosen completly wrong... First of all, The CPU and the motherboard. the cpu you have chosen is an intel 1366 CPU, and the motherboard is for amd's AM3 socket. they are uncompatible second. you will probably need a Graphics card. third. you need to do some research. if you have a budget of $950 you probably wont be able to get a decent 1366 build. i recommend that you go with either an AM3 build (thus you keep the case/mobo combo deal) or go with a 1156 build with a different motherboard/case/CPU. Or of course you could wait untill the first batch of sandy bridge processors is out. Fourth we need to know what you'll be doing on the computer so you can be helped with a better build
Oh sorry never linked my GPU, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125356 Honestly I just picked the mobo because it was combo'd with the Case, Will this mobo work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128456.
Yes, it should. but as far as i know, you need triple channel memory for a 1366 motherboard. so the build would be: 750w coolermaster powersupply -$89.99 Spinpoint F3 1TB -$69.99 i7 950 processor -$291.98 gigabyte HD6870 -$299.99 Rosewill Chalanger -$54.99 Gigabyte x58-usb3 motherboard -$179.99 Total cost: $986.93 So with the current build its going to cost a fair bit too much. You will still need a triple channel memory kit AFAIK. Its probably best to wait to buy until some more people read and give support, and to choose different parts completely. You could probably get one of these GPU's to cut some of the price off, but i say it again, wait for someone else to give advice because there are people who are much better at formulating builds than me. If i were to do a build like this, i would probably go for a LGA1156 build. And you also havnt told us what you will be doing on this computer, that would allow us to work out a better build.

Just want to see if that fixed it at all.
it looks fine to me. if you can wait, someone might be able to find you better prices on the same parts, just different vendors. they'll also be able to find anything wrong with it. but yeah. check back tommorow and someone else might have responded with a better build. im off for a while, gonna have lunch and play some games.

If this computer is for gaming you don't need an i7. Get an i5 or wait a few weeks for Sandy Bridge.
Get a 6950. Then do the BIOS mod to make it a 6970.
