Fallout: New Vegas had jsawyer or what it is called, it is an unofficial patch made by one of the devs that fixes a lot of stuff itself.

Unofficial patches for Bethesda's games would be a good reason to pay those who took their time to iron out the bugs none of the company's playtesters could. I personally also feel Bethesda should have some of their games delayed to get more time.

Josh Sawyer's mod isn't actually a bug fixing mod. It just changes things to be more in line with what he personally thinks the game balance should have been.
The patch mod for New Vegas is Yukichigai's Unofficial Patch, or YUP for short.
