Well I was wondering how to save flash games from web pages, I would assume it's possible I've seen people talking about it, so how?
If you want an easy solution, just play it in the browser. There are better ways to do this, I'm sure, but what I do is examine the page source, copy the .SWF file's link into an html file, then right click, download.
Depends on where you're getting it from. If you go to http://www.keepvid.com you can copy and paste the link of the site (works for Newgrounds) and it'll give you a .swf download link.

I have a direct link to the SWF file, I just can't download it.

Try "Right Click > Save Target As"
And go choose all files and rename it "Name.swf"
I'm opening notepad, putting in the link, and saving it as "Game.HTML" am I doing it wrong, because I don't get all "Save Target As" option.. :(
Are you coding the link correctly? Here's the code for it.
<a href="PUT YOUR URL IN THESE QUOTES"> Right Click this Link and Save As </a>
Edit that in notepad, save as .htm or .html, and open it in your browser. :)
I use DownloadHelper. Its a Firefox addon.
Another way you can do this if you're using internet explorer (I use Firefox but IE at school which is where I download everything anyway) is to delete all offline content in your browser then load the page with the game on it, go into the temporary files folder and organise it all by size so the biggest files are at the top.
Should be an swf file there which you can just right click and copy.
I would explain it better but I really can't be arsed.
