I am using my xbox 360 mic on my pc, it is all connected properly, (Mic to controller controller to USB port). It was working yesterday and today until i accidentaly changed my defult recording device. I changed the defult back to the xbox 360 mic and now its not working! When i try to talk to people there is no sound! The volume is on 100, it is not muted and my PC says that it is working properly and the controller is connected and its status are OK. Please help.
Try and reinstall the Xbox controller drivers.

install them again.
Make sure the Xbox 360 device is set as the default recording and default communications device, then reboot. Also, go to the audio configuration for your chatting programs and make sure the Xbox 360 controller is set as the recording device.
