i've had these parts bookmarked for a while, but now i have money to get them so are these good, or could i get more performance for less price? this is my computer and these are the parts i'm looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125418 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031
I would get the MSI TwinFrozr 7870 and as for the power supply I have heard mixed opinions about coolermaster psu's, but I don't know. I have heard good things about the CX500M. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139050&Tpk=cx500m
Get the Twin Frozr R9 270X. It's the same price, but it's the updated current generation version of the 7870. By the way I have that exact video card (the one you linked to not the R9 270X), and I can tell you it's a very good card. As for the PSU, that's a really low budget PSU. I'd move up to a better one, like the one posted above me. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Cooler-Master-eXtreme-Power-Plus-500-W-Power-Supply-Review/728/1

Thanks you're all very helpful Last I checked, I was told that those are the only two parts I would need to upgrade, everything else is finis that still the case? Or should I get more parts than just these two?
It's your choice, upgrade if you're not satisfied with the performance. If you're asking if the parts themselves are good, the CPU is not very good.
