BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
But will it make the game good?
But will it make the game good?
Ret was fairly decent. Not quite to the same extent that DoW2 and Chaos Rising were, or the first game and its expansions (barring Soulstorm of course), but still worth a revisit every now and then. On the other hand, no, the Ret blood pack is certainly not worth getting. The Total War gore packs made combat *look* as visceral as it sounded. This just makes it look dumb.
Nice to see them hiding extra blood particles and effects behind a paywall. Cash for the cash god, gold for the gold throne.
it looks like they just scaled up blood effects
At least the total war gore packs were to get the game a T-Rating while having the option for blood. There's no reason for a fucking Warhammer 40K game that already had gore to have a paid gore pack.
I think this is their way of throwing a bone to the people asking for Dawn of War 3 before SEGA resumes the milking of Company of Heroes.
Well it has a fitting name at least....it is ridiculous, on a lot of levels
2.46$ for scaled up blood sprites? No thank you.
i have to admit i would pay the 2,50 for this if it actually added gore but it doesn't, this is particle shit that looks like ketchup no matter how big you make the effects, and there's no way to make gore look like gore if it doesn't stain the environment. give me semi-permanent decals and spilled entrails a lá DoW1 and i'm game. DoW2 and Space Marine were way too soft and clean in the Blood God department
I might have gotten this when retribution came out, but not this late in the games lifespan. its pretty dead anyways save elite mod.
