Handful of games crash ever since crossfire, even when disabled

Ever since I crossfired my AMD HD 6850's, I've been having freezing issues in Battlefield 3 and Red Orchestra 2. For whatever reason, after about 20 minutes of play, my computer just seizes up and is totally unresponsive and I have to do a hard reset. As far as I know, all drivers are up to date and all CAPs are up to date. Even when I disable my second card, it still happens. All other games, however, are fine (with the exception of Skyrim, whereas when I'm outdoors I get massive flickering and atrocious performance). Any thoughts?
For what it's worth, specs:
AMD 6850 HD
Asus P7P55Lx
Intel i5 650
Corsair 8GB DDR3
Thermaltake 650watt PSU
Cheers
Overheating? Check temps
Temps are pretty in line with what they were even before I got the second card. Red Orchestra doesn't seen like a super demanding game, especially when compared to Crysis 3 or my ridiculously nodded Skyrim.
flickering usually means the card is overheating or damaged, but it's possible that it could just be an issue with the driver. You should try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, make sure you do a restart after installing the drivers
Cleaned up my drivers with Driver Cleaner and reinstalled. Lockup still happened in BF3 and RO2. I then unplugged my second card and tried both individually, and it still locked up. I finally switched my cards around and used the old one as my primary and it's still locking up. This only happens in BF3 and RO2 and it's only been doing it since I started crossfiring.
It's very unusual that your GPU is damaged by crossfire. What is your GPU's model and manufacturer name? Some googling can narrow down if it's a design fault or not.
