• Need a build under £600-700

Hey guys, I need a complete build excluding monitor, speakers, Wireless Card, Keyboard and mouse, and maybe OS (I have XP but if Seven is cheap enough...) It needs to be under £600 but if I can convince my parents I may be able to go for £700. I would like to play games like all Valve games, Crysis, Fable III, Starcraft II etc. On max with no hiccups. Also, do you think it better to buy now or wait till October or so before buying parts? I'm familiar with how fast the world of technology moves at. Thanks so much! And any tips for a first time PC builder? My dad builds PC's and I've watched him do it since I was born, but any tips on how to care for it with cooling, dusting etc? I don't have a clue why there's a space after every line, sorry.

It's nice to have options and I think Milky's build could have a pretty big bottleneck with the Processor and GPU combo. So.... If I bought it as I don't have to pay VAT in the channel islands I would only have to pay £592.91 + postage :smug:
Also, do you have an available 5850 on Newegg that can get a good 100-200 FPS on Source Games and run World of Warcraft on Max Settings with 50-60 FPS?

Good build? [url]https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=19676948[/url] [editline] 9:27 AM [/editline] Don't listen to derlicious, its an amazing build.
Do you need a sound card for sound? Does Milky's build come with it if it is needed?
I think the motherboard comes with a sound card.
[QUOTE=itsDivine;23356508]I think the motherboard comes with a sound card.[/QUOTE] Thanks. [editline]05:31PM[/editline] But half the parts are out of stock. The CPU or the GPU?
CPU and GPU together.
[QUOTE=MAX STEEL;23356521]What would be bottlenecked with Milky's build? The CPU or the GPU?[/QUOTE] Dab of overclocking would sort that no probs, people over react about all this "bottlenecking stuff. Personally Id rather have the 5850 with a i3 than a i5 with a 5770.

I'll post pictures after Christmas, can't wait, also will have to start saving up for a fancy boy i7. [editline]05:51PM[/editline] And I'll have to have your help with the overclocking, if I may, to know when to stop and stuff.
You don't really need an i7 unless your doing rendering or 3D modeling. [editline]04:54PM[/editline] Get it now. [editline]04:55PM[/editline] Nowwww damnit nowww
Actually divine I think you should get out...you're a bit of an idiot. Also you could fit an i7 920 into a £700 without windows 7
