Man, it's so creepy when you enter a nearly abandoned MMO and have to spend hours trying to find a single person who's not even paying attention to you (even though you're probably the first player he has seen in quite a while on the map.) but just grinding and grinding.

I thought they took down the central PS2 online servers for everything ages ago, long before even the Xbox ones.
Only one of those i've heard of is Everquest adventures.

Infantry was a pretty fun game when I used to play it.
Though I only would play on a free account.

The PS2 never had central servers; Sony's DNAS system will exist as long as Sony does.

It was also creepy seeing the World of Warcraft capital for Horde, Orgrimmar, cramped full of player Heroes. On the ground, in the air, on the way, everywhere thousands. Like say, Friday night.
Targeting, and seeing who the target targets, was like staring straight in to the fellow player's soul!
