There needs to be a way to just grab the table and flip it over entirely. Not just mess up the board, but literally up-end the board/table.
Does this mean the games aren't ruled by unbreakable rules but by the same rules as playing irl meaning that if you really wanted to you could pretend every chess piece on the board is a knight?
This simulator gimmick is getting a little old. Yeah the idea is creative and all, but they're sort of ruining it by making it a satirical title. I would have been much more intrigued by "tabletop sandbox" or something along those lines. I also feel like it's an excuse to shit out a game and it becomes good if you slap "simulator" on it. Call me a party pooper, but goat simulator stepped over the line. I don't mean that by this board game idea is bad, but I think it's just associating with a bad name.

It's like that game made by Wolfire, Desperate god http://www.wolfire.com/desperate-gods Except that in this case people can understand the rules of the games...
The music reminds me of this so much:
Now give me a Battletech Mod and you'll have a very happy camper.
I'd love to see if you can play games like monopoly in this.

This is amazing.
jenga would be neat
Now give me a Battletech Mod and you'll have a very happy camper.
Hex based board, some record sheets, and some miniatures is pretty much all you'd need for the standard battletech game - which you can already play on the computer
That trailer was the cutest thing I've ever watched

This would be fun to try and play D&D on
