• Looking for a 3.5mm microphone (<$30)

My old microphone died this week suffering from an internally severed audio cable and I'm looking for a new replacement. I'm looking to spend between $0-30 seeing as I am not looking for a huge professional microphone. - 3.5mm is necessary, that way I can use my sound card to filter out audio feedback from speakers - I don't use headphones so a clip-on microphone may not be suitable - Preferably able to be placed on desk in front of me to speak - Preferably small and non-obstructive - Audio quality is not shit So does anybody have some suggestions?
I bought a pair of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826193076 They were $9.99 when I bought em. Not the most comfortable, but the sound quality is great. [edit] :suicide:
Alternatively, is there any software available that allows you to cancel out speaker echo/feedback from USB microphones? Realtek audio drivers have an option called 'Acoustic Cancellation' that works perfectly to remove speaker feedback but only for microphones plugged into the motherboard (3.5mm)
www.amazon.com/Plantronics-AUDIO-Desktop-3-5mm-Microphone/dp/B000GCFN72/ Got this for $12 about 6 or 7 years ago, works perfectly, quality is great through my Xonar DG It comes with two bases, one sits on the desk, other one sticks to the side of a monitor / case Has a little mute switch on the front, and it's about the size of your hand [editline]1st June 2013[/editline] I also drilled a hole in the base of the monitor stand to turn it into a ghetto camera mic

I paid somewhere around $8 for it.
I have the same as culexor, as do most of the friends that I game with. When on Skype, there's almost no static in the background. I get more static just from my headphones. The audio quality is even better than the mic on the Siberia V2 headset, which is a pretty nice headset.
