This was a rather strange review.
I hope they send her to more places for reviews. Edit: Please, have her do more. Please.
I nod. “How big is your screen?” (Oh come on it is the obvious question.) “Uhhhhhhh 24 inch screen.” 24 whole inches. “Yeah.” He nods, because he knows he just said it in a context he never wanted to even dip his toes into. And to think [sp] PROPHET IS STILL ALCATRAZ. TWENTY YEARS OF SOME OTHER DUDE INHABITING YOUR HEAD. Sure sounds like fun.[/sp]
This may have been the best article I have ever read.
And to think [sp] PROPHET IS STILL ALCATRAZ. TWENTY YEARS OF SOME OTHER DUDE INHABITING YOUR HEAD. Sure sounds like fun.[/sp]
talk about a bad case of "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream"
You are standing at the entrance to Castle Shotgun. The gates are securely locked, with an unappealing sign on the front. The sign reads "Whoops! RPS is having a bit of a wobbly. Don't worry, we'll be back soon!" To the left of the gates is a large opening in the wall, which Jim is leaning into. John is perched on a small rock nearby, while Alec and Tim are standing on the other side of the gates. A pile of magazines is scattered in a corner. You can see Jim, John, Tim, Alec and a Refresh Button here.
Didn't she do that simcity preview as well? These are great.
[t]http://www.destructoid.com//ul/238622-/c3-noscale.jpg[/t]
i like how what are most likely real time faces (if crysis 1 and 2 faces are anything to go by) in crysis 3 look better than 99% of prerendered footage made today
the funny thing about crysis was even though i could hardly run it everyone's face looked almost as good as it would on high... i was like all super low settings.
the funny thing about crysis was even though i could hardly run it everyone's face looked almost as good as it would on high... i was like all super low settings.
I imagine they didn't bother making the face shaders very scalable, sounds like a lot of hard work to get them looking right otherwise.
Oh man that was one of the best reads in gaming journalism ever
