Well I get random blue screens I have no ieda what is causing them. I have took two different actions replcing CPU fan and cooling gel and reinstalling windows. It helped for about a week. But the problem has returned. My mate said it could be ram timings. I've also tried updating drivers and windows.
The Blue screens haven't happened during games. But the is no reason why they shouldn't? Maybe I'm lucky that it hasn't ruined my gaming.
The blue screens can happen any time from starting up my computer to any time on the night. Basicly when ever my pc feels like pissing me off.
All I want is a second opinion.
Well, I can't remeber all my specs so I'll tell you what I know.
OS: Windows 7 ultimate 64bit
CPU: Intel core quad 2.40GHZ
Ram: 4GB
GPU: Nvidia 260
Sorry if I've lacked on information I'll try and update it.
Thanks for any help.
P.S sorry for gramar I suck at it.
uhh, search for "event viewer" and look for system errors
Also what BSODs were they.
I suspect bad RAM. Get a Linux Live CD of some distro and run memtest.
Sounds like bad ram. I think windows 7 has a memory diagnostic tool built in, though.

Yeah, type "memory diagnostic" into the start menu. If you're too lazy to get memtest you can use this instead.
Right when it starts be sure to go into the options and set the test mix to "extended", as well as a few more passes than default. 4 or 5 is fine.
