They are selling map packs. There goes any hope of a map editor now.
I dunno, it seems kind of fun since these new maps are more close-quarter combat oriented

These maps actually look kinda cool

Honestly AoS feels like multiple FPS games just rolled into one since the introduction of Classic Mode. It's not really something you see in a game. They can do whatever they want with the engine, and instead of keeping it constrained to modifying what they initially released, they're trying out entirely different things. This isn't a $20 map pack, it's a $4 expansion with new maps, weapons, game modes, models, and an entirely new theme.
Didn't this have a map editor in beta/alpha?
Have they even fixed weapons descriptions yet, or are half of them still something like {Type_weapon_desc}?
