AC2, Brotherhood, and AC4 are the best games in the series. AC1 is a good proof of concept but it isn't a great game. Revelations, and AC3 are fine but not incredible.
Tempted to buy the second one, it was an amazing game, and I never had the chance to play the DLC.
Wow, $26 for Black Flag? I bought it for $9.99 at Gamestop and just activated the uPlay code. Don't get me wrong, totally worth it. One of my favorite games of last year but just know you could have gotten it cheaper.

AC3 is the only one that I would honestly consider bad. Revelations had an amazing ending imo.

The story in Revelations was fine, it's just the city was an absolute bore.
