• The top ten entries will be entered into a poll.

• The entry with the most votes at the end of one week wins.
• I will contact the winner via private message regarding the prize.
• The winner will be able to choose between two prizes. A $30 USB drive or a $30 Steam game. International winners will only have the option of winning a Steam game.
Remember to have fun and be safe. Best of luck to you all!
Sounds awesome, I'll participate if i can think of an alright idea.
There was an earlier USB mod competition held like a year or two ago. Am I allowed to use that entry?
Why isn't there an option for 50$ paypal?
That's a pretty heavy prize for a little contest like this MTMod, Hell if it was a $20 prize you wouldn't get any less entries and it would allow you to fund the next contest, and possibly even a bit of a third if you felt like it.
i want to try pull a steampunk on my 2 GB drive
holy!! I gotta work on it now! And I only have about 10 days to do it since I will be overseas on the remaining dates.
Also, I am allowed to take the usb drive off an old usb mod right?

50 bucks is not a heavy prize, at all
This sounds pretty good, will try.

For something simple like this? Yes, it is. This should not cost the contestants over $10 really, it is a simple modification to a USB flash drives casing, not a entirely new device based off the USB connector. Plastic is cheap, and you should have the tools already.
Beat you all bitches. This was the inside of an old USB stick, I couldn't pop it off, had been super glued directly on the chip. Oh what fun is Tape, usb stick, and items around the house.
i'm confused
Looks like a fake usb with the real one hid on the other side
Just clearing this up, i assume that entries to the old USB mod competition aren't allowed to be entered into this one.
Am i correct?
I only have one spare flash drive and I want more than one entry... Can I use my USB Bluetooth adapter?

Well once I can find my old 4gb drive, I'll enter that.
Do they have to work, because I don't think there's a way to judge that.
I did it before the thread started, and didn't realize I needed pictures of it being made :saddowns:

What's your point? Because it would cost less than 10$ the prize should be lower? USB mods can be expensive too, but I doubt we will see any here on fp.
