Ubisoft is pretty much the king on shitting out fake videos/screenshots of their game for promotional purposes.

Far Cry 3 looks better than the promotional material. Just because one of their demos showed a slightly altered compared to the main game doesn't mean they fucking 'doctor' all their pre-release material.

-The draw distance is further without being blurred
-The water actually looks nice, instead of drab blue, notice how it gets a bit clearer nearing the shore in the E3 version, and the island that the MC is going to appears to have a lot more foliage
-Dive animation actually plays when you dive into water(probably just scripted for that)
-Water in E3 version is a lot better, doesn't immediately fog everything 2 feet in front of you, also has more vibrant life
-Water to knife attack, why would they even take that out...
-A lot more foliage, creating a denser immersion area
-Crysis level lighting in E3 demo, where as the release looks washed out and bloomed
I mean I'm sure there is more, but I needn't go into further detail to prove you're wrong about that.

Wow it's actually $60 here in Australia too, that's nice but Farcry 3 went on sale heaps when it was brand new and I could have picked it up for $25 just months after release so I think I'll wait.

Good job listing foliage and water twice. Water does get 'foggy' very quickly, especially in areas with a lot of activity where sand and debris is kicked around the water. The knife attack is in the game. The draw distance isn't much better and the blurring is done in most games to smoothly transition between LODs. More foliage is a stupid complaint, they changed the entire area, the new version is much more rocky of course there wouldn't be as much foliage.

I wouldn't want the game to look like the guns were poorly photoshopped onto the screen, personally. Those are mostly screenshots from the game with first person guns added, and a panther for some reason.
