I have a linksys wrt54g and when I try to forward ports it just doesn't work. When I have a port forwarded, say port 199, and I go to canyouseeme.org, it says connection refused. However, when the port is not forwarded in my router it gives me the error connection timed out. Any ideas?
ports 1-1024 are usually blocked by ISPs what port is it
Some routers block ping requests and port scans as a security measure. On most routers there should be an option to turn it off.
