So my PSU blew up on Thursday. Ordered a replacement next day and fitted it on the Friday. It worked fine over the weekend and then this afternoon it's now not switching on again. I've used my power supply tester and it seems to switch on for a second, then turn off. To repeat you need to unplug it, leave it a few minutes and plug it back in and it will switch on for a second again..
Coincidence or part of a different problem maybe? Either way i've sent the PSU back on RMA to get a replacement.. Just would be interested to see if anyone has any thoughts.
What make and model is the PSU?
Are you sure nothing is shorting it out ?
Try run it unconnected to the PC.
