Looking for gaming rig around 1000 obviously.
Looking for something able to run games like Battlefield 3 on Ultra with possible recording capability; if something like this isn't possible for 1000, tell me how much it would take for this. Thanks friends :zoid:
1000 what? 1000 potatoes?

You can see that he's in America, so it's safe to assume USD, which will buy a fantastic gaming computer.
Here's my suggestion: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1toar
Does not include optical drive or operating system. CrossfireX ready if you purchase a second 7970 (or other compatable GPU) in the future. If you need to squeeze more out of the budget, I suggest downgrading to this GPU: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn760oc2gdrev20
If you don't want to SLI/CrossfireX downgrade the PSU as appropriate for your video card of choice, and possibly switch out the motherboard for a G41 (keep in mind the audio quality will be worse, but if you're not an audiophile, you probably won't notice).

Yes my bad. I rightfully feel like a dork for not putting USD as currency, my bad. Thanks for this, I will look into it
