I'm working on a new diet, not really like a diet plan, but just eating better. I also am making it a goal to be content with my hips (a target area as well as my abs and chest). I've started slimming down naturally, but I don't do very much in the field of exercise. So I was wondering, I always do a few different pushup variations and stuff before I go to bed, but now I'm increasing reps. What can be done to effectively shave off the 'muffin top' fat around my beltline and waist?
Also, anyone know anything yummy to eat for breakfast and lunch that's also healthy?
I usually eat a bowl of sweetened cereal, and something like a sandwich or the school's chicken tender and fries basket. As well as a soda.
I'm giving up soda in place drinking water, and I want to change my diet (not drastically).
You can drink soda, just like one every 2 days or so. But anyways. Lay on the ground with you knees bent. Then put your hands behind your head. Look straight up. Then lift your head up (while pointing your face at the ceiling the entire time) with your abs. Its different then crunches. Also sit back in a char (or lie on a bench if you have one) and lift your legs up, Like crunches but with your legs. Keep them straight.
muffin top?

no offense OP
for breakfast, eat something filling, but healthy, like a fruit and some yogurt. At lunch, take normal lunch. Most of the time, it is measured out so it meets certain health requirements set by the school district. And instead of soda, drink a carton of skim milk. If you have a treadmill or some kind of eliptical machine in your house, use it 2 or 3 times a week. If you don't, go to your local gym, or if your school has one, a weight room. Push-ups won't be as effective as good old fashion cardio workouts. Get a jump rope, do it for 15 minutes everyday. Also, everything in moderation, it's okay to have soda, but only 2 or 3 times a week.

You google that shit and get a ton of different things. There's no telling what's a scam and what isn't. I figure at least one person on here has taken the time and effort to do what I'm doing at one point in their lives.

Don't jump into some drastic routine all at once. I would say, start with your diet and stick to it for around a month. Then go for a light jog or jump rope and slowly build up. It will take longer, but you won't resent it.
Anorexia
Does smoking (cigars (not cigarettes)/ weed) affect the rate at which you lose weight? I know a shitload of kids who are skinny as fuck that smoke weed, wasn't sure if it was a coincidence.
Weed makes you snack, which makes some people with fat.
Why not just try a bunch of round house kicks chuck?
