Like fuck man, Psychonauts is one of my [I]favorite games period[/I], and while I'll admit Schafer's lost a lot of respect in my eyes for some of the dumb shit he's said, and while part 2 of Broken Age was just bad... if this wasn't announced as crowdfunded, I'd be all over it. But after the absolute trainwreck that was the DFA campaign... I don't know. Fucking up on your budget for a game you're funding yourself is one thing, but doing it on a game that's funded by people who entrusted their money to you really makes a big blow to your rep. I don't think I'll be supporting this.
I am not supporting Psychonauts 2. I never thought I'd say that.

I am hyped and also pissed. I never been both, Fuck you Tim Schafer, I would love this game, but I know you are going to fuck it up since spending money stupidly. But maybe, JUST A TINY BIT OF HOPE, it will be good, maybe...

Totally screwed up the budgeting on the Broken Age kickstarter (asked for 400k, got 3.3mil, still had to break up the game into two parts and ask for more money), released Spacebase DF-9, a completely unfinished game, out of early access with a huge amount of planned features missing and said they weren't going to do anything else with it, and then offered no recompense to people that bought it, and generally said a lot of really stupid things over the past two or so years.

Basically. The only reason he ever made good games was because he had people above him telling him to get his shit together and finish what he started and that he had only so much money to do it with. And even then he still was fucking that up.
It's psychonauts 2 but i'd trust a bank with my money more than tim schafer
