I tripped over my old pair and broke them, not to mention the mic was broken anyway. So, I need a recommendation for a new pair. My budget is 70 USD.
Creative Fatality. I've had it for a long long time, hasn't let me down yet. Has a detatchable microphone and is a comfy headset. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-HS-Fatal1ty-Gaming-Headset/dp/B000P5VR16/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1250811657&sr=8-1
Those are the ones I just had. I also need a mic on the headset. [editline]11:47PM[/editline] Why did you give me a UK link?
cause he lives in the UK?
Save up a bit and get a Steelseries Siberia (fullsize ofc)
Amazon ship worldwide. Also the mic comes with the headset obviously.
I don't want to buy the Creative Fatality, it's the one I just broke. Dark, care to post a link?
Found on amazon, and you're in luck, they're on sale http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Siberia-Full-Size-Headset-White/dp/B000V9AU6Y [editline]08:00PM[/editline] Except there's no mic disregard that.
Ohh, I'll have to make an amazon account now.
Wait there is a mic I'm an idiot
It clips on.
Is it any good?
Dunno. [editline]12:12AM[/editline] 3/4 on Amazon say it's a good mic.
It's hard to go wrong with SteelSeries as long as it's not the 3H.

Nah, I want an over the head pair. I can't stand a headset that you have to put in your ear.
Nah, I want an over the head pair. I can't stand a headset that you have to put in your ear.
i have to agree. You should've signed up for some musician magazine. they have great deals through that mag and they're studio grade headphones.
Siberia's are excellant. My friend has them (I suggested them) and when I tried them I was amazed at sound quality and comfort.
get these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826265065 more durable than the razer, and it does have a mic, it's just hidden, look at the pics you'll see what I mean.
oh that'd be so awesome. go make a sandwitch and still talk in vent.
I once fried bacon while talking on Vent. people though my mic was broke because of the fizzling sound bacon makes when being fried on a frying pan :v: Said bacon was delicious in my sammich.
