• Beep sound coming from computer

There's a not too loud "beep" sound coming from my computer, it only comes when I am in the menu or loading screens of games, not in-game or on desktop no where else. I think it might come from the graphic card but I am not sure, it's not big of a problem but I want to know why it's doing this and if there is a way to stop it.
Need to check your computers manual or configuration and find out what the beep codes are. Its different for every computer. It could be video, ram... you need to determine though first and that should lead you to the problem...

It could also be friction on a fan or something. [editline]07:41PM[/editline] Just open the case and check where it comes from [editline]07:41PM[/editline] Or record the sound and post it

I have been through a crap load of boards, p1,p2,p3,p4 and amds. They all the have exact same beeps. Beep - Beep means somthings not right in your components. Somthing is having a malfunction, check the ram...VideoCard. But since it does that when its started it. It could simply just be a speaker malfunction, system warning you of overheat, or just the machine acting up. Most new motherboards do atleast..
I wouldn't say it's a normal beep. Because the tone changes when going into different options menues, it can be from beeeeep to bzzzz. But I don't really think it's a fan or something like that, must be something else. And take note to that this only happens in menu/loading screens in games which is odd.
I say it's a fan buzzing quite badly on your CPU/GPU, post your specifications in your next post to determine, and that could also be your CPU/GPU overheating beep.

Fan failure :V
Sounds like its the power plug that goes into the GPU.

Each bios chip has different beep codes. Look it up in your Motherboard's manual. It's sort of like morse code i.e. three short, two long.
If its more of a high pitched buzz then it's something on your card, my old card did this a lot when my FPS was higher than 300 or something in anything.
