Nah, I'd say the security is pretty good. Of course, considering they're going through every app individually, it could be even tighter, but it's pretty tight already.
Yeah, but they should check out when apps get updated/changed and not just let that slip pass.
Yeah, they probably should, but it's a big platform and you can't really expect them to catch everything.
The only way for Apple to stop things like this happening is if they reviewed the source code instead of just trying them out for a bit. Considering it takes them 1 - 2 weeks to review Apps at the moment (one of my updates took 2 weeks to be accepted, which is ridiculous) reviewing source code won't happen anytime soon.
