I uninstalled steam, and was told it would ask If I wanted to remove my games, but it didn't and deleted everything.
System restore to before it recovered steam but not the games.
What can I do?
Download the games again? You don't really have many options at this point but you could also try Recuva - [url]http://www.piriform.com/recuva[/url]
I tried that, I have a bandwith limit is the thing, I guess ill have to download a few each month.
System restore only puts back drivers ect not whole files..
I suppose its a lesson learned, next time you should use the Steam backup feature to store the files on a DVD or an external drive. In the "Steam" tab just hit "backup and restore games".
