I don't know if these added features are really that great or expensive, the game looks fairly medicore and doesn't really provide that much which doesn't justify the high pricetag.
He also talks like micro-transactions are a good thing, which is more often the opposite. There are far better games that are a lot cheaper and offer much more content. If they invested so much money in this game they might have made some major mistakes during the developement process.
