$200-$300 Budget for CPU + Motherboard

I'm upgrading my Motherboard and CPU.
Could you recommend a decent CPU and Motherboard for a total of $200-$300 CAD Dollars.

My Current Specs Are:
Athlon AMD Arglon 64 X2 3800
A8N32 SLI Deluxe
Radeon HD 5770
2 Gigabytes DDR2 Ram
500 Watt PSU
Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro Heatsink

I would hold out a bit longer until Sandy Bridge. But if you must game right now, go with an $75 AM3 motherboard, Phenom II X4 ($125), and 4 GBs of DDR3 RAM ($50).

Agreed, but get the Phenom II X4 955, and not the higher versions (960 and 970) since they are quite useless.
