That's too bad, i was thinking of getting it eventually.
Gearbox bought them to re release them with none of the DLC, twice the price, and call it special with a new side story.

It's the fate of any media that has a time based contract nonsense. The James Bond franchise is notorious for this in gaming. A year or so after release, their games get pulled from every online store and physical stores don't get new stock. Like on Steam, there have been several James Bond games, but you can't buy any of them anymore.
It's weird having games just completely disappear from sale not long after being released. I think a similar thing happening with the Deadpool game, where it was pulled from sale less than a year after release due to the licence expiring
Compared to other Platinum titles it was quite lackluster. If anything stick to Transformers/MGR and wait for Nier Automata.

The one thing this game has over those is that it's co-op, something the hack-n-slash genre has a severe lack of.
Would it be too much to hope that Platinum ditched Activision for Games Workshop?
