So I've had this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vibox-4-4GHz-Fast-Quad-Core-Gaming-PC-ATI-HD-6670-8GB-2TB-Multimedia-Computer-/221024520630?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopPCs&hash=item33761689b6 garbage for the past 2-3 years, now it starts to overheat (It was cleaned often) and obviously drop mass FPs when that happens. I'm wondering how much would I get for it if I was to sell it?
Also, what gaming PC would you reccomend for around 500 pounds budget? (No AMDs please)
Thanks.

I think he said no AMD? I'll build one up once I get on my desktop.

A little overbudget, but vastly outperforms the above build.

Except it's really unbalanced and no OS
I'm wondering how much would I get for it if I was to sell it?
Maybe $300 (or pound equivalent), possibly more if you sell it to a chump that's in love with ricer computers.
But although it's a ricer, it looks like it has a decent motherboard in it:
http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4305#
I don't know what kind of CPU cooler it has (likely the stock AMD OEM heatsink) but you could get a better heatsink with heatpipes, or try reapplying the thermal paste to fix the overheating problem.
Also, what gaming PC would you reccomend for around 500 pounds budget? (No AMDs please)
Thanks.
You could save a bit of coin by upgrading the existing rig or just replacing the guts of it.

Do you even know anything about computers? Why would you recommend him a worse CPU than what he has now. The Athlon II x4 750k uses the same Piledriver cores as the FX4300, except it runs at 3.4 GHz instead of 3.8 GHz. The Athlon part also has half the amount of cache as the FX4300 (4 MB vs 4 + 4MB on the FX4300.)
Except it's really unbalanced and no OS
What are you talking about? A mid-range i5 and an r9 270 is as pretty much as balanced as you can possibly get price/performance. And everything else is spot on for a budget build.
Except it's really unbalanced and no OS
are you an alt of kevin or something

Because he'a looking for a new computer? Fm2+ is going to be more upgradable?

Holy shit. He created his account on the same day Kevin managed his latest ban... and says some very similar things. Also posting everything from iPad, and defending things Kevin posted in multiple threads.

Haha, you do know that FM2+ is not backwards compatible with FM2 right? (The Athlon II x4 750k is a FM2 processor.)
Thanks for pointing out it was FM2+, because not only was that build a waste of money, it wouldn't even work due to using the wrong CPU.

You have got to be kidding me.
That was the stupidest, funniest thing i've read all day
It's backwards compatible dipshit, i'm pretty sure pcpartpicker would detect an incompatibility

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_FM2 No it is not compatible. They have different pin configurations.
Now that's the funniest thing I've read all day.

2 additional pins, that's the different pin configuration

According to this i found on google it's backwards compatible
2 additional pins, that's the different pin configuration
It is still not compatible.

https://www.google.com/#q=fm2%2B+backwards+compatible
https://www.google.com/#q=fm2%2B+not+backwards+compatible
Nope still says it's backwards compatible
2 additional pins, that's the different pin configuration
Which means...
IT'S INCOMPATIBLE.
Which means...
IT'S INCOMPATIBLE.
Stop getting all bitchy because people keep telling you that you're wrong (because you are.)
Then why doesn't pcpartpicker detect an incompatibility?
Choosing a mitherboard with an fm2 cpu gives me fm2+ and fm2 motherboards
Choosing a motherboard with an fm2+ cpu only gives me fm2+ motherboards
Better question is why do you trust a single source for compatibility information?
Better question is why do you trust a single source for compatibility information?
Every result,on google says it's compatible, doesn't say anywhere that it's not
Every single source says it's backwards compatible!
Page 2... Backwards compatible!
They support APU's Trinity and Richland, but the 750K is not an APU.
I didn't say the 750K wasn't trinity I said it wasn't APU, but I keep finding conflicting sources so I'm man enough to admit I'm not 100% sure about it I just kept seeing FM2 APU's supported FM2+ socket and I didn't see anything about just the regular CPU lineup so that's why I thought it wasn't compatible. But whatever I'm human I make mistakes.
