Raiding people for downloading music? Lets see how long it'll take before this backfires
Sharing, not downloading. By the way, the forum had more than 2.7 million users.
As far as I know they don't actually hunt those people for uploading illegal content. They can't since the file hoster don't give out the information. They also can't sue you for posting those links in that forum if they don't have evidence that you actually uploaded it. From what I heard they actually want to sue people because they make money with those links, that they took "payments of commission as remuneration" from the file hoster. There is also the rumor that the 2nd version of that forum which opened a few months ago with a copy of the old one was hacked multiple times (by our BND maybe) or simply used as honeypot.
