Alright guys, I just bought a Roxio easy vhs to dvd apparatus(http://www.amazon.com/Roxio-Easy-VHS-to-DVD/dp/B001LQO4P4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1301546782&sr=8-1), I just had really wanted it to convert old lps to mp3s, but I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone and get this instead of the one meant for lps. Unfortunately when I connect it, I get this obnoxious reverb, or almost echo. It is obnoxious. Does anyone have any idea what causes this? Or, better yet, how to fix it. Its driving me crazy, and roxio's support is about as helpful as asking a moose for help. На здоровье
Ground loop problem most likely, connect the record player or whatever you're using as the source into the same wall socket / power strip as the PC.
Death. It was multiple problems. I grounded it which was a big issue. Then I had some playback option enabled which was making even more reverb. But, now I find my biggest issue. Roxio of course doesn't notify you that you need a pre-amped turntable. So, now this whole thing is just going to become an obnoxious mess of wires.
