i will be using case, monitors, hard drives, disk drive, and other existing accessories in this build.
I will be purchasing from newegg, but I've honestly have not been able to keep up with the latest tech trends, the last time I was able to keep up with what was coming out or not was back when I got my gigabyte HD 3870 512 card. So I will be needing you friendly folks to check over this list a friend suggested to me.

As you can see I'm a bit of a gigabyte fan, so I was looking at switching the motherboard over to this GIGABYTE GA-H67A-UD3H-B3. I'm not planning on overclocking at all and it's cheaper for a brand I prefer, so is sticking with that MSI motherboard my friend suggested to me worth the little increase of price?
I'm also unsure about that brand of PSU or if it's enough power for the machine with four hard drives to power while at full load - Not sure how much power the machine will be pulling at full load.
The ram is listed as "Designed for Intel LGA 1156" Not sure if that actually means that it'd possibly have compatibility issues with the LGA 1555 motherboard or it's just some marketing bullshit.
Any opinions or suggestions for parts that may have overlooked or looked at wrong? My budget is right around the 700 - 850$ mark.
That build seems pretty stable. Sandy Bridge seems to be the way to go lately, and since you're spending an average build's worth of cash on a select handful of parts you're getting your money's worth I believe.
you're not getting an unlocked processor, so go with H67 not p67

Or get the unlocked one, overclocking is easy as shit on the 2k series, you can reach some very nice clocks on stock cooling.
stop being a stupid brand whore and get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102921&cm_re=6950-_-14-102-921-_-Product
I doubt you need 8GB RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820144461
use the savings to get an unlocked i5 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072&Tpk=i5%202500k
and a heatsink http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065&cm_re=hyper_212%2b-_-35-103-065-_-Product
then overclock, it's incredibly easy on P67
the PSU is fine, great even
stick with the MSI mobo, it's crossfire compatiable for a future upgrade and gigabyte's P67 mobos don't match asus or msi's until you're paying quite a bit more and even then they lack basic new features like UEFI
