I just built a new PC, and have two internal drives. One is from my old computer and I wiped it completely when installing my OS on the other hard drive. The BIOS recognizes that the hard drive is there, but it's not showing up in My Computer.
Any help is appreciated.

Shit. The second I posted this I realized this should go in the tech support section. My bad.
it's probably unformatted. But then, it'd still show up. Hmmmmm
Yeah I'm slightly confused. Disk management doesn't even recognize it. Wtheck.
Do you have any RAID settings enabled in your bios?
You probably need to initialize or partition the drive. Right click on 'My Computer' and click 'Manage' then go to 'Disk Management'. In there your drive should be in the list and you should be able to partition it or initialize it.

Bah, somehow skipped over that part.
What BIOS do you have?

Nope.

How do I find out what BIOS I have?
Go into BIOS and it will say somewhere near the edge, normally at the top and centered.
It's an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO motherboard, and it says the BIOS is American Megatrends Version 0501.
Just updated to 0605.
