Was it far fetched? Didn't Nordic Games pick up the IP when THQ went under?

Might reinstall it. I really enjoyed the first one for all it's faults. And yet haven't managed to bring myself to finish the second.

Nordic picked up a lot of thq properties iirc, this is probably just the start to get people anticipating a third game. It would be nice, since they did have a ds3 and 4 planned out from the start, one based on each horseman.

If you think about it, releasing the previous games before going full-on into sequel territory is a brilliant idea. Not only does it re-ignite interest in a series, but it helps secure funding for more games as well.
I gotta say though, a 80% off launch sale for non-owners is pretty fucking generous, even if it's just a remaster.

I think the performance used to suck even back then, seeing as this is Nordic they'll probably fix it anyway so it doesn't bother me too much.
as far as i remember the original darksiders had nice performance but i dont remember what card i had back then
