One night my kitten decied it would be a GREAT idea to knock my Xbox over whilst I was playing Halo Wars. I miss that game... So much. But my question is this:
Is there a way to fix it, so I can at least install my hard drive? I'd really like to have this fixed. Please any help would be great.
What does this have to do with chainsaws?
take it to a game shop, they'll repair it for like £2
I would be the sound the disk makes while it's spinning when you knock it over, thus it was named 'being chainsawed'. What happens is the lazer burns a PERFECT circle on the disk.

A place such a "family video" usually has a service like this. If it can recognize what the game is but fails to read the disk after it starts to launch, you could rent the game once and install it to the hard drive with the rental disk. That's what i did with my MW2.
I am thinking about that, but the only rental store in town in Blockbuster, and they lack a copy of this game. I feel SO cheap because the game is only like $20, but I' really can't afford it.

I meant to say "it", not "I".
if you're looking for a super quick fix, take a q-tip and rub toothpaste on it then rub said q-tip on scratch and then was off with water
I'm not guaranteeing this works but it's made some of my scratched disks at least playable but glitchy
and if it doesn't' work just take it somewhere to get it fixed for real

This I will try.
Should have kept the Xbox 360 laying down horizontally, like consoles traditionally are supposed to.
Then it would be virtually physically impossible for your cat to knock over.
