I'm using ubuntu with my minecraft server, and what i see under resources is that it spikes on core 1, then core 4, then back and forth repeatedly. During this time, the other cores are barely used.
How can I get my minecraft server distributed across the cores, and not trying to use 1?
I set the priority to high, but that didn't help. It still just switches cores.
Is the Minecraft server application SMP capable? If not, then it's only going to use one CPU/Core at a time.
