Do you know why my Bioshock shortcut in steam doesn't allow in game community and it doesn't say I am playing it when I alt tab to my friends list. My other shortcuts work fine.
Delete clientregistry.blob in your steam folder. It usually solves most problems.
But this is more of a bioshock issue, read the last sentence.
Some non-steam games don't support the overlay yet. I think BioShock (non-steam) is one of those.
