I'm laughing, but I can't laugh too hard. Ubisoft's internal opinion on PC players is basically that we're all pirating bastards. As funny as it is to see pirates getting punked and publicly shamed, they're not helping Ubisoft to change their mind any either. :|
Memories of Arkham Asylum, good times.
"Ubisoft wasted no time in patching it to fix multi-GPU issues" yeah, literally, because they didn't do it
Technically you don't have to be a pirate to not have downloaded a launch day patch, though. Technically.
Wasn't the patch for this released a whole week before the game was out?
Isn't the FOV slider also really bad? Like I heard it capped at 60
Yep fov slider still ranges from 5* to 6* or something. Ultra wide is anpain in the ass. The config fix doenst seem to work anymore either.
pretty fucking dumb pirates, because the patch that added it was immediately uploaded
Isn't the FOV slider also really bad? Like I heard it capped at 60
Well according to TB's port report, its just a slider. There's no actual numerical value of what setting the slider is on. So its kind of a bitch to find out what FoV you have.

Also there's fucking negative mouse acceleration which you can't turn off. It's like fucking Arma II. Horrible.
Can't really blame people for pirating it. Ubisoft has been burning PC players this year one time after another, and they're being rather overt about doing it The one GOOD thing they did with Farcry, though, is that if your friend bought the game, they can give you a code, and you can play all the Co-op with them for free. I don't know if this is purely for console users or not, though. Given Ubisoft's stance against PC I wouldn't be surprised if it was
Call out pirates all you want Ubisoft, your patches didn't fix shit regarding utterly awful mouse movement
Does Ubisoft have a new CEO or leader or something Last year their releases were //okay// but this year they been doing nothing but shitting on pc users and doing terrible unoptimized releases What the hell happened
Does Ubisoft have a new CEO or leader or something Last year their releases were //okay// but this year they been doing nothing but shitting on pc users and doing terrible unoptimized releases What the hell happened
Their PC releases are shitty because they're using it as leverage to increase console sales.
The butthurt consoles in the comments.
"Ubisoft wasted no time in patching it to fix multi-GPU issues" yeah, literally, because they didn't do it
I never understand when people bring up multi gpu problems because surely the whole point is that the graphics driver is just supposed to make this work without any intervention? There is no standard way of dealing with this so unless they are seriously abusing vender specific functionality for some reason, maybe the problem lies with the graphics card/drivers and not actually the games?

If you don't like Ubisoft, don't play their games. Pirating their games only says that you like their games but don't want to pay for it for one reason or another. You're only giving more fuel to "PC gamers are pirates."
I can't help but wonder that if Ubisoft stopped screwing over their PC market, maybe more people would buy the game. I mean FFS people who bought the game are complaining about their shitty support. Buying ubisoft games does NOT equate to a seamless gaming experience like Ubisoft love to suggest. They are ass holes and they know it.
Pirating their games only says that you like their games but don't want to pay for it for one reason or another."
On the Other hand consider this: Pirating games does not mean you like their games. For the most part there is no such thing as a demo any more. Anybody that gambles 50-60 dollars on a game because they've seen a few trailers is frankly an idiot. Hell, there weren't even any PC reviews out there because they didnt give any review copies out before the game released. If anything that is extremely scummy of ubisoft. "Buy our game! No we wont show it to you, Just BUY IT!!!"
Yeah you can. If you don't like Ubisoft, don't play their games.
What about the people who want to play the game without shitty drm?
Get stuck between a rock and a hard place and question your purpose in this world. [editline]19th November 2014[/editline] Duh

There's a performance issue that causes nasty stuttering when you travel at any rate of speed, so much so that TotalBiscuit even experiences it. If his hardware does that, then mine's got no chance You don't get to see what Far Cry is like on your machine, which is unique and can't be fully optimized for because of all the driver versions and hardware combinations. Until you fork out $60+ dollars for it. And then Ubisoft's even said themselves if you can't run it, buy better hardware, it's not on them to optimize! Well how the fuck are we supposed to know when your system requirements are completely bogus, too?!
Pirating it and proud Inb4 "Warez" Inb4 I move on to my alt (User was banned for this post ("Shitposting" - Swebonny))
Memories of Arkham Asylum, good times.
Deus Ex 1 had to have a sound play before you were allowed off Liberty Island. Since downloading the game as is would take a long time, pirates would trim the game, and usually would delete that sound. People on forums complained, and would immediately would be outed.
so much so that TotalBiscuit even experiences it. If his hardware does that, then mine's got no chance
he's running dual Titans, they're not gaming oriented cards regardless of their ridiculous stats. I love TB but he complains so much about performance issues on these cards that you'd think he would have caught on by now. There's client-side factors outside of GPUs that cause issues with game performance and he needs to take a step back and think about the rest of his rig, or maybe bite down on some 980's [editline]e[/editline] I'm late on his upgrades

You simply cannot get more power out of a consumer PC. So yes, he has 'caught on' and 'taken a step back' as you so pretentiously put it. If by client side factors you're talking about his recording software then he covers that in his Dead Rising 3 Port Report and mentions he's using Shadowplay, which has a 2-5fps impact, in his FC4 Report. Sorry Dai, I love you but you've missed completely on this one.
can we go over the word pretentious here Thanks for the TBwiki worthy info but god forbid I bring up his nasty habit of reminding his viewers that he spent money on several titans every time a game had popping textures or the framerate stutters. Sorry I didn't check up on his new rig, the GPU still isn't everything and he often seemed to miss that point regardless of what the true issues were.
Surely he has a top notch CPU too?
