• Where/when did "Pretty" start being replaced by "p"?

I realize this is a bit of a shit question, but I can't help but to have noticed that some people around the forums have been using the letter p in place of the word pretty. My question is this: Can anyone tell me when or where people started using the letter in place of this word? Is this some sort of new fad around here or something? It seems to have started catching on with a few people recently but I'm not sure. Don't know what I'm talking about? I'll give examples: Hey, I've tried that before! I thought it was p cool. i dunno bout you but im p tired lol I find it just slightly annoying when I see someone do it but I'm not blowing steam out of my ears or anything. It's just weird that they replace that specific word with the letter "p" and normally put in the effort to type out the rest of their post, so it's not due to laziness. It's probably just a coincidence but I noticed that two of the people who do this occasionally are British so I was also wondering if this is just something you Britkids are starting up? I don't know. Has anyone else noticed this in others' posts?
