Alright so my less than one week old galaxy s3 (verizon, american model) is not preforming as well as it was when new....

Probably due to my ignorance. I have killed all apps, rebooted, all the good stuff. But no real promise. animations seem laggy at times, but everything else seems OK.

Is it normal to have the GUI lag a little for the first couple of seconds? It never did it before.

Sorry if I am wasting time, but I love my phone and I hope nothing is wrong.

It's probably normal, Samsung's software can be weird at times. You can check for updates or try a custom rom
