Stop! I know what you're trying to say! Whenever people think that, it simply gives me the impression of how much the person doesn't know about the Batman universe. You're letting Burt Ward and Joel Schumacher sully the image of Robin. Yes, those were truly terrible representations. Please just forget about them. The majority of people who say that Robin would ruin everything have no imagination, and no real appreciation for Batman's history. Be it Nightwing, Robin or Batgirl, they're all very important characters to the Batman mythos.
If one really knows and understands Batman, there's absolutely no reason that he should dislike Robin or any other member of the Bat family

because Rocksteady took the time to make him completely different than Batman, same with Nightwing. They both have their own gadgets and combos. They play differently
I wish it would've added storyline for Robin. It has a lot of potential seeing how Robin was a teenager as batman's sidekick, and it would've been interesting to see what the city's corruption did to Robin as he grew up.
Dick Grayson, the original Robin IS this Nightwing. So if you hate Robin you should be hating on Nightwing as well, considering he's the same preteen boy who was helping Batman out in the first place.
