My anti-virus software (Avira) detected something called "TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen" upon trying to update Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forced II (from Steam).
Fortunately, it was placed in Quarantine automatically. Running a full scan on Anti-malwarebytes and Avira right now, seeing if any other files are infected.
Also a bit more information, it seems like two other files were infected at the same time. One called MPENGINE.DLL and the other MPGEAR.DLL. Also placed in Quarantine.
I'm unsure how worrying this should be. Was this a mistake from the creators? Or maybe this is a false reading.
iirc this happened with tales of zestiria
it was a false positive. I'd say report it to the developers and submit it to avira so they can take a look at it. it's most likely a false positive

Um. How do I send it to Avira?
Or even devs maybe.

As for contacting the developers, steam forums, perhaps?

Thanks. It seems to be false positive. Nothing to worry about.
