Do you wash towels after you've used them?

My dad is insistant that towels should be just left to dry after they have been used, this means he could of dried his ass on it, and then someone else would come along and use the same towel.

He gets pissed off when you put towels in the wash after they've been used. Is this normal? Or is it fucking disgusting?

You're definitely supposed to wash them. Not necessarily after every use, but pretty often.

I have to wash mine a lot, because for some reason it seems to attract a moldy gross smell after 2-3 uses.
