Okay, this has been happening for two weeks straight non stop ever since I updated the Adobe Flash Player. Before I updated everything worked fine. But now every time I try to watch a video it gets really choppy and makes my browser act up unless I pause it or exit out of the page. This is driving me insane and I really want to fix this. I've tried rebooting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the Flash Player, none of it is working. But some days it actually works. Two days ago it was working perfectly with no problems and now it's acting up again. How can I fix this?
YouTube is always applying crap that makes videos slow.
There is no fix.
But it seems to work for everyone else before I updated my Adobe Flash Player and now it's acting up :(
What browser are you using?
Firefox.
Firefox.
The new 4.0 beta version or 3.6.6?
I think 4.0 Beta, because I remember the day when it started acting up I had to update my Firefox, and then it redirected me to the website and it recommended me to update my flash player. Then it started acting slow.
Try using chrome then get the html5 beta for youtube, everything loads very fast.
It may be something wrong with the new flash player. Try downgrading.

Screenshot of browser? 3.6.6 looks very different from 4.0 beta.
And I thought Firefox supported HTML5 anyway (I'm fairly sure I'm wrong about that).

It won't allow you to downgrade because the new version has to be better...
...right?
(I tried to downgrade, no luck)

Interesting task bar set up.
So I tried Firefox 4.0 and it still doesn't work. Even if I use Chrome or IE it also doesn't work. Please, someone help. This is driving me insane.
delete fucking everything

This is not helpful.
OP, try running CCleaner on your computer and see if the problem goes away. Your cache could just be too full. This works about 75% of the time for me.
Try updating your graphics card drivers, the new flash player added hardware accelaration. (Your video card runs the videos)
I thought it always had hardware acceleration.
Nope it was only added very recently and it doesn't work very well. That's why most developers hate flash.
Interesting. OP, try disabling the hardware acceleration (right-click on a flash thingie and click settings)

It's the Flash Player.
Do you, by any chance, use Adobe products? 'Cause they seem to like using us as guinea-pigs for their beta flash players.

I think we've established this.

This isn't a beta flash player either. It's a rather critical update (from what I've been reading) to fix a HUGE hole in the player. I had to update my flash player as well, but I'm not getting the OP's problem.
I think it's because of the version I'm using. I'm using 10.1 and I'm having trouble trying to find the earlier versions. But it was working earlier today but my power went out (just my fucking luck) and not it isn't working.

10.1 is the most recent version. You cannot and SHOULD NOT try to downgrade because Flash is like swiss cheese when it comes to security holes. You'll have to deal with it, unfortunately.
On a side note, have you cleaned the cache like I told you to?
