Well you guys here seem nice enough, guess it's time for another thread from me. This one should be simple: list your top three things that make you wanna cower in a corner in fear, bonus points for a short explanation of your fears. Mine: 1. Flying on planes 2. Taking timed tests 3. The dark (I am a bit of a pussy, I guess ;_;)
1.- When I'm walking alone and I feel like if someone was following me. 2.- The city where I live is pretty dangerous so it's common to see the army/special forces/civil force patrolling the place, but whenever I look and them and I see them carrying assault rifles, heavy machine guns and shotguns. It makes me feel a bit scared. I feel like if they were going to shot at me. 3.- Being inside a car with people that drives at high speeds. I think that driving fast when there is a lot of traffic is a terrible way to kill yourself.
1. Losing my friends. 2. Being rejected by people I like. 3. And all the above leads to this; being alone.
#1 People who cut me off on the freeway/in general. My car has no abs and no airbags. FUCK OFF. They hit me or make me slam into them and I am ded. #2 It seems weird, but I fear WW3 will start soon, and I'll actually have to put my shooting skills to work. Crap! I had weird nightmares about that a few times. What else.... #3 My greatest fear is that I will never be able to fly helis and end up killing myself if I have to work somewhere I hate. That would put me over the edge after all the hell I've been through.
I am afraid of the space inside trailer houses. Not pre-manufactured homes, but the things you see in trailer parks. Something about the vibe just makes my skin crawl. Especially in the dark. I grew up in several different trailers, but suffered no trauma (that I can recall) in them. Been through tornado scares, but even that I can embrace with a bit of bravado. But being in a trailer, in the dark... I'd rather sleep outside with the dogs. It's a totally irrational fear. -edit Oh.. 3.. shit. 2. Seeing or being in crowds of people. Going to the store is a bitch. 3. Being laughed at and or singled out because of my stupidity. (FP is great immersion therapy for this.) -afterthought(folks here are not afraid to call you out on your BS and you find yourself faced with defending it or crawling away in shame. Nothing wrong with owning your own stupid as long as you learn from it.)
1) Being stranded in open water. 2) Tsunamis 3) Thought of how insignificant and minuscule not only humanity, but Earth is. And as an added bonus:

When I was in 3rd grade or so, I would be left home alone at night while father was working. I'd sleep on the couch in the living room watching TV, but beside the TV was a sliding glass door to the balcony. I'd always be afraid of an alien peeking through the blinds so I'd put my pillow over my head in such a way it blocks out the door, but not the TV I was a dumb fucking kid Spiders, and that Amoeba that eats your brain There's my 3
